Today in Art: Tim Burton @ MoMa

I’m beyond excited for the soon-to-open Tim Burton exhibit at The Museum of Modern Art here in NY. The retrospective officially opens to the public this Sunday, Nov. 22nd and you’ll have plenty of time to stop and check it out in all its’ crazy awesomeness since it runs until April 26th, 2010.

The photos I’ve seen from the opening look promising, and I’ve read there’s even a life-size sculpture of Johnny Depp as Edward Scissorhands. Besides, who wouldn’t want to check out a blast from the past for this year’s People Mag’s Sexiest Man Alive?

You can check out an interview with one of the shows curators, Ron Magliozzi, over at Cool Hunting.

Can’t wait to visit after I return from Thanksgiving travels!
