As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve been waiting for today for quite some time. What is today you ask? Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland finally hits theaters! As excited as I’ve been, I must say I’m still a bit concerned that the apparent CGI overload may ruin it for me, the first review I’ve read so far via Cinematical wasn’t exactly a rave review for the film, but I’m sure Johnny Depp’s performance will not disappoint.

Anyhow, I wanted to mention an interesting slideshow via Life.com featuring the girl who is said to have inspired Charles Dodgson aka author Lewis Carroll, Alice Liddell.
You can view the entire slideshow about Liddell and Carroll here.
And, if you haven’t already, you can check out my own “Alice” inspired photo shoot via my Flickr.
Let me know what you think of the movie!
