Jump for Joy

The NYT recently reviewed a current exhibition of works by the late photographer Phillippe Halsman, on display at the Laurence Miller Gallery in NYC.

The photo exhibit will only be on display through Friday, so if you want to check out hurry over soon! The works capture some very famous names including Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and artist Salvador Dali enthusiastically jumping for the photographer. It’s a very fun and interesting idea and I’d say he probably captured some great moments of people letting themselves go and being completely free to act a little silly.

While it may take a few shots to get it just right, I highly suggest trying out the jumping scenario in your own photographs. If nothing else it’s certainly great fun.
