I’m sure we’ve all shopped, or at the very least browsed, online retailers. Almost all retailers it seems today offer e-commerce, where shoppers can browse through hundreds of images of products: shoes, jewelry, clothing, electronics, you name it…it’s out there. And although I may not always buy, I usually enjoy simply browsing, even recognizing the repeated use of certain models on various e-commerce sites such as Shopbop.com.
So, I was intrigued with a new post over on Cool Hunting that gives a peek at the behind-the-scenes process of a photo shoot for Gilt Groupe. Get it? Gilt trip? Haha. Clever, I know.
It’s an interesting read. I knew that e-commerce shoots were usually extremely fast-paced. The photographer, model, stylists, etc. have a lot of looks to get through i a short time, though I hadn’t realized that there may be several shoots going on at any given time (also a lot of brands to get through) and they shoot almost daily.
