Getting Creative

Sometimes it’s difficult to come up with new and creative ways to photograph things, particularly when you do have to focus on something specific, as in fashion and beauty photography. There may be more creative freedom in some shoots than in others, but when the goal is commercial, i.e. selling a product, that product usually has to be front and center.

So, I was really pleased to come across this beauty shoot by Jeff Tse for the May issue of Vogue Taiwan.

I absolutely love his creativity in this shoot! Using veggies in a beauty shoot is definitely a unique idea and a really cool way to add and enhance the colors in the makeup. Check out the full spread over at Design Scene.
