Friday Photo Inspiration | View from the Jardin des Tuileries, Paris

I spent some time earlier this week walking through the Tuileries while working on some street style and stopped to take some extra photos. You can see the Ferris wheel there and if you look closely the Arc de Triomphe is in the background.I didn’t take a ride on it yet but I still plan to soon!It was one of the cooler days we’ve had in Paris so far but I still really enjoy walking through the gardens.Even now, the trees are almost bare but there are still quite a few with leaves hanging on. Anyhow, hope you all have a lovely weekend!

  1. I adore the last shot. As an amateur photographer, how ever did you do that?

Dear Brandie, I am grateful you took this photography. Most of your readers will not be aware of the significance of Tuileries played in France ‘s history. It was here where our queen Marie Antoinette and her family lived after their arrests, by order of the revolutionary guards ; it was from here they planned their ill-fated escape from Paris.
    History lives in the Tuileries.
Perhaps, after, a visit to Versailles including the Petit Trianon would be a welcome addition. For me, Versailles is the absolute highlight of a Paris visit.
Apart from this, the scenery is absolutely fantastic.
    Thanks for sharing / aheneghana
