Friday Photo Inspiration | Strasbourg, Capitale de Noël

Getting into the holiday spirit, I did a day trip to check out Strasbourg recently. Located in the Alsace region of France, Strasbourg is a little more than 2 hours by train from Paris. _KEN0010-Double-1_KEN0017-1_KEN0037-1Since Strasbourg is located close to the border of Germany there is a lot of German influence on the architecture._KEN0034-Double_KEN0059-1_KEN0056-Double_KEN0075-1_KEN0066-Double_KEN0081-1_KEN0083-DoubleIt even started snowing! That really added to the Christmas ambiance, since there are Christmas markets all over the place. I saw more than one sign billing itself as the “Capitale de Noël.”_KEN0103-1_KEN0102-Double_KEN0122-1_KEN0126-Double_KEN0129-1Photo © Brandie Raasch

If you ever have a chance to visit around the holidays, it’s a great place to go for a day or two to browse the markets and get yourself in the mood for all things Christmas.
